Thanks Suey & Troy:-) This is just with the in camera settings I described earlier Troy & it does help the sharpness by using Bicubic sharper when downsizing. Apparently the 17-55 lens is quite sharp even wide open on F2.8 that I used here to blur the background more. Also the lighting is a big factor for sharp looking picys
