I must add though, I enjoy looking at all the little details of this image. If just a piece of the city has so much to look at, I can imagine being very overwhelmed when I visit for the first time.

Ahh, a classic Venetian scene, but without the bright hues that we usually see. However, I agree with John and Techo that it needs more contrast.

Shot definitely fits the challenge. I too though wouldn't mind just a bit more contrast though ;) Just a bit to not get the grey looking all white though.

Definitely shot under flat light. The close to you left side has contrast but the fog for the rest has robbed this of its rich reddish colors. I think the exercise is to take the pic in flat light but then maybe add some contrast to boost colors.
