Now this is what I think of as "flat" light. And flat subjects to further make the point. Scoping out a comfortably flat resting place eh? It looks like not everyone thoroughly scoped out the monument makers for materials quality. Or are thay just really really old? -tv

Thanks John, Penny and Doug - I did take a look at a B&W conversion, but it lost the overgrown look of the cemetery (which will be my final resting place).
Wow it never occurred to me that a headstone would lose its writing before it fell down. I guess all that impact engraving comprises the stone. Maybe why the good ones are carved from marble and granite. You might want to concentrate more on the disintegration if this is your message.
