The reflection is specular. But if there is surface roughness the reflection becomes unrecognizable and diffuse reflection. So I guess when the surface is smooth but curves the reflection to be unrecognizable then it becomes ...unrecognizably spectacular. I like the top reflection but it took a long time for me to figure it out and I still have no comprehension as to the red building.

Yup, I agree with both of you. But I was trying to find something that wasn't my traditional wall to wall reflection shots. I'll see what else I have. Penny Street

I know this is a reflections challenge, but somehow these shots of chrome do not do that for me, unless i'm missing the point of the challenge. I'm seeing more of the subject and the reflections are really not even there unless I really look. But great image :) jano

I like the curved reflections...would like to see more of them and less of the "Sportster 1200," which I find much less interesting than the rest of the image. You must enjoy being able to get around without the cane, Penny.

Very well done. I like the rich black and pushed color all while keeping it sharp. It's great to see you on your own two feet. -Doug

Thanks Rod and YB - it's me (but I didn't want to bring attention to myself), Tom, and my daughter Diana - no cane.

Is that Tom behind you holding your cane? The chrome looks really good here & the fisheye reflection & colours look lovely. Nicely done megirl.
