Yes, the train would have been wonderful, but this angle gives the viewer the overall scenic view. jano

There is only one thing missing - a steam train.
Last Saturday I was lucky enough to see and photograph in full glorious motion the new Tornado engine - what an experience steam, smoke, noise and speed, but the remarkable thing was its effect on people, everybody was happy.I heard "Wasn't it great, bringing back the good old days".
Your picture gives a glimpse of those days, except there would have been a Station Master, Porters, and people in the ticket office.
