Thanks Debi, Jano & Techo:-) I've heard that after flower picys it's dementia:-)

This did not have your name written all over it. What a pleasant surprise :)
Very nicely shot. The lighting really highlights the beeds of water on the edges of the flower.

Thanks Penny & Christakis:-) This Rose is now for you Penny (don't tell Tommy) I nicked it out of Mereana's flower arrangement & she won't know it's gone:-)
Normally I just use the natural light on flowers Christakis but I did use some weak bounce flash on the flower picys in manual mode to help make the water drops have better highlights. Most of the light is from a window on the right. The background is Mereana's dark navy blue dressing gown, I just held it up behind & kept it moving so it wouldn't show any details.

A single wet rose, lit and composed so beautifully... love it. Penny Street

I know you hate using flash on flowers. Is this natural lighting? How do you get so nice backgrounds? Nicely done mate... Chris
