This one is, to be honest, as much about the story as about the actual picture. It's taken at the Akhtala monastery in Armenia. Absolutely deserted and silent place in beautiful surroundings. (See here.) But the door to the monastery was closed!! And there were supposed to be amazing murals inside, Byzantine style, from the 13th century. All I could see was through this one hole in the door. Here are the fresco's; my camera could see them better then I could.
