Photography has been criticized by some other artists for being too literal and documentary, not like this shot which uses a combination of thinking, processing and engagement with the subject. The result for me is something that is no longer literal or documentary but impressionistic and metaphysical. The ambiguity of the scene lets us engage ourselves in the world of these people in a more universal way than we could if it were sharply detailed. Visually, the men's eyes still call for attention even blurred as they are. Striking image Debi. -tv

Rod Gawd this is like a apparition taken on old B&W film, almost a picy of the afterlife. There seems to be lots of things to discover visually as the longer I look at it the more I start to see. This is great mate, well done megirl.
