Thanks for commenting, Doug and Penny. Ya, I had a plan for the progression of these three shots and probably should have used a smaller aperture for this "family" shot. The DOF isn't enough to capture all of the fledged dandy, let alone the two other phases. Anyway, thanks again, -mikey
I saw these backwards. They're all good - this one for the color, composition and painterly feel. I like art shows of all the same artist/subject/period too, so this topic is now perfect for me. Penny Street

This has everything going for it. Composition, WB, lighting, all good. There is a strange DOF thing going on with the subject keeping it from being my favorite. -Doug
