Thanks for all the comments, folks. I finished one project and have a break until the next one at the first of the week, so the headache is over for now. Yep, its a radial blur in PS. Sorry, to all you purists out there. @Kiki, you'll love this lens. The Advil wasn't more than 150mm away from the glass. @Doug, this is a dual monitor setup to function as one big screen (a 17" Laptop & a 22" LG LCD) Its maybe 1000X as powerful as the PC I originally started doing CAD with back in '86, ha! So, I can read the news, watch a movie, work a drawing in CAD and process a photo, all at the same time ... not really. I don't read the news that often ";^D). I did want to evoke a kind of *hangover* (morning-after term @Konstantin), worked-too-much feeling, so I guess it worked. Cheers, -mikey

I think that's a dual monitor setup on a laptop, Doug.
Just got a text message on the mobile: The lens registered in at the post office down the street NOW :)) For any norwegian readers: That was 'Japan Foto', most expedite webshop I've ever come across.

Seems a bit ironic, serving up Advil with a swirl that might invoke the migraine. Trying to navigate two computers at once might also. -Doug

Yep - this is a radial blur in PS. Nice effect if smart implemented. Here is a very good for example. Works very well for the idea of the picture. Is there a special term for 'headache-after-too-much-alcohol-yesterday-night' ? Would be good here for this blur-effect.

I'm mystified about the sharp vs blur too. Howdeyudoit? -tv

Too late, it's already sent! I'll have it this weekend. Still looks like fun anyway, and I went through a ton of samples on PBase before deciding. That's what the lens links are good for. Read the reviews at Fred Miranda as well: Its weakness seems to be "wild CA" (purple fringing) and some flare, which can be dealt with.

Creative idea here, very migraine'ish, amazingly sharp at the center. I've seen better colors, then again.. they compliment the idea of a headache quite well lol.

Now how was this done? Blur tool or zooming? - Debi
