Penny, Rod, Doug, RK, TV - thank you for your comments. I shot this in one of the hundreds temples here. Unfortunately, my understanding of chinese sacred ritual is more the superficial.
The lighting was extremely difficult but 5D is super camera. Sometimes can save even my rubbish shots. No flash used.

Yes this is very good & the colours look very natural. The hand coming in the frame looks excellent for this type of picy a. The light looks natural to me, hard to imagine this place is open to the outside so maybe a big window on the left even though the arm is well lit on the other side which may suggest a low level fill flash, if it is it's very well done a.
