Thanks Tommy:-) I haven't desaturated anything, if anything the colours are boosted by increasing the contrast & sharpening. The paints on this place were sort of pastels, maybe this is underexposed as the sun was very bright just after mid day.

I like the other one better. There, the desaturated color scheme works but here it looks unnatural. Better in bw I think. -tv
