Sue Anne you are on a roll. This has such lovely impressionistic light and color. The shadows across the road add to the feeling found in Pissarro and even Cezanne before he want off to less "real" subjects. -tv

Thanks,
not in a roll, just lucky. :)
But Spring is here and I'm scouting around.

Well I'm glad you stopped your car to shoot this Sue Anne, a beautiful scene and very well shot. Great work!

I like the pink road to match the pink trees. And you are right to include the sky to give it a sense of scale so, unless you wanted a significant crop I'd say this is just fine!! Penny Street

Thanks all :)
Well Rod hit it on the nail, the top of the trees give it some perspective of the size of the trees. (and I wasn't with hubby at time, so I could shoot the trees in peace. ;)
I was lucky to be driving and saw this and lucky me with a camera on me.....

It's hard to say as the bit of light sky could actually add to the delicacy of the picy & also makes sense of the light that permeates down through the tress. Cropping the top off in my browser makes the trees too solid & heavy for me.

Nature served you up a treat Sue Anne. Nice capture and thanks for sharing your special moment. -Doug

This is fabulous, Sueanne! What a lovely walk that must be this time of year! I wonder how it would look with the white sky in the middle cropped out. I think it might give it more of a panoramic look and the triangle of sky wouldn't be drawing our eye away from the trees and the road. Just a thought, it is a wonderful shot just the way it is! ~Sharon

Wow wot a lovely scene. I can imagine you & Hubby walking hand in hand along this road...............Until you spoilt the mood by wanting to take picys:-)
