I like the look of this with the white snow & city background lifting the picy from the dull colour of the ice. Goodun mate.

RK is correct. Just a dull day. Brent, these were not so much breaking up as trapped in this marina at near high tide. -tv

Wow! was it this bad.
Penny, my guess is there is no selective desat... looks like the colors are muted due to overcast sky.

Well thanks for getting us started Tommy and this is quite a wild image. I thought from the thumb these were some kind of stepping stones, I've never seen ice breaking up like that before.

So I guess selective saturation is okay so long as it isn't selected on the subject? Or is this just color saturation and it's in all the right places?
