Excellent processing CJ and the position of the camera and lighting is wonderfully done. jano

I KNOW I commented on this but I can't find the comment anywhere...
I think the processing is superb. And I like the angle and the reflections.
Great job!!! Penny Street

VERY nice - motif, composition and colors. *IF* I were to crop it, just below the V-shaped black reflection in the upper light cone could be an idea. That way you would avoid the brighter clutter in upper right corner also. But this is terrific.

How did I miss this photo. This is really good, CJ.

I'm not jealous I just don't want Carole to win:-)
I tried a B&W (in Pending) which I sort of like but the conversion needs to be done from the straight from the camera picy. It's more manly but The girly blue you like has been lost.

I don't see any burnouts either (BHs ?). Looks so good with this subject that I thought it was Rod's. He's just jealous. -tv

Thanks Debi and Brent! Rod, the flat plate is not blown - I can tilt my laptop screen and see a grayish color in it. This was taken in bright sunlight and I metered off the brightest areas on the chrome so as not to blow out anything. It ended up fairly dark overall so I just messed around with the sliders in PS Elements and used a new program called Topaz Adjust to try to bring back the shiny look to the chrome. CJ

:-)hehe.....hic Does the chrome plate thingy under the middle headlight not look blown Brent. I even turn me screen down so dark that I couldn't see anything but that pure white wiv no detail strip of metal.
I think overall this could be darker so the chrome can shine against a darker background. It looks great after three cans of beer & wearing me sunglasses but:-)

Ahem, somebody in the southern hemisphere where they drink huge cans of beer needs to do some calibration I think:-) The highlights look very well controlled on my screen. Great subject and very well composed Carole- super work.

Thanks Doug and Rod. Actually, this picy didn't have any BH, I upped the contrast etc to make it look like this! :-D I'll put a few other examples of PP in pending later and see if you like one of them. CJ

Great subject for the challenge dear Carole but it looks overexposed for a chrome picy. I normally take a picy in AV & see how it looks on the LCD, looking for BHs etc, I then use the AV settings as a starting point & put the camera in manual mode & start underexposing until I think the chrome looks good & then shoot away. Maybe try a B&W wiv some adjustments & it may work a lot better a. Good try but.

You've done this biker proud by making his/her ride shine. The chrome looks great. -Doug
