Thanks, Techo. I liked the surreal feeling that a little bit of PP gave here.

I really like the composition and the effect is amazing. It's like a ghostscraper ;) Especially for pics like these, wouldn't have thought grey skies make shots so interesting. This proves me otherwise.

Thanks, CJ and Angio. Doug, I have an older smallish monitor and often have to scroll through vertical shots. I've found that if I view this in "medium" size it seems more of a whole.

I really like the transition Mary Anne, gives this a ghostly appearance! - angioman

Not so sure about this one Mary Anne. I'm so drawn to the light it makes it difficlut to take notice of anything else. -Doug

Great composition Mary Anne and nice reflections/shadows - I like the color version - good one for the topic! CJ

Ah now I see the light fall off in the original is more gradual & the over exposure of the sky is just more accentuated because of the crop, it makes sense now. I tried a B&W but your colour version works a lot better. Nicely done.

Very well done, esp for this challenge. I like the composition as well as the overall effect. The shadow on the left really can fool the casual eye.

Unique with the contrast increase! Nice one, Mary Anne! shu

Thanks, Tom and Penny. NY is such a fun place to photograph, with an endless supply of subjects. This past weekend, of course, it was extra good with such great people to share the experience. Rod, you can see the original in Pending, which shows that this is pretty much how the fog was. I did little more than crop and increase contrast a bit...and I was actually surprised at how the windows in the background turned out.

The fog doesn't seem soft enough to be real, wasit done in PP? This might work better in B&W for me so the windows become more of an important element.

NYC - Yay!!! Nice picture - I do like how it keeps going and going.

Nice one for the topic Mary Anne, especially for the innovative blurring of the distinctions about negative space. Glad you had enough time to do some processing for the challenge since Saturday (I didn't). 50 points bonus on top of a fine qualifying score of 7.999. -tv
