Great photo here, Penny. I think he and the fruit were just waiting for you to come by and shoot this scene. Fits the challenge perfectly!

thanks aam and Rod, Kurt and Lonnit and shu ! I couldn't decide whether I should go wake this dude or not - I was so afraid his fruit would get stolen! Penny Street

Nice candid Penny, and well suited for the challenge with the opposing subjects at each corner. - angioman

I agree wiv Aamm, we should all be revolting a:-)

I like everything about this!!! A city street scene with a vendor who may be taking a snooze.I don't know if you "dodged" it or not, but the lighting is convincing.

(Revolt over Tommy? I think he's funny!) shu

Tom is becoming a tyrant. We must revolt :)
Rod 28-Mar-2009 03:07
Tommy.........Wot's a Nikon?
ctfchallenge28-Mar-2009 01:51
I'm bringing a cart to lug around my Nikons but probably have to leave them in the car. Hmmm. I'm the host right? I make the rules right? New rule: Nikons ok for Eligible. -tv

Don't forget to take your heavy gear to the NY walkabout Tommy as you need to impress the girls a.

Another "aha!" Got it now. Hope she still has the 5DII, though.

I'll bet Penny's taking a break from those big bulky L lenses. I don't think my back could handle lugging those things around so I'm sympathetic. I love the feather weight XTI. Tougher than I ever could have expected even after two serious collisions with concrete pavement and still working. -tv

Very nice, Penny. Btw, why the XTi, what happened to your 5DII. You still have it, right.

This works well in all respects because of the ironic impact. The "subject" is the vendor and his oranges. As is, the vendor is visually subordinate to the oranges, but both get points because they use their respective corners. But Rod already understands those things and correctly applied the 7.5 for three corners and all edges plus .5 bonus for content. I am inclined to deduct .25 for the vendor's face which could be brought out more with some dodging. -tv

I thought using two corners might get me more points. We'll see... Penny Street

This looks great Penny, the comp seems to be just the kind Tom is looking for, it's interesting, and the colors are terrific! I'm not sure if the oranges or the guy is the most important subject, but maybe it doesn't matter. CJ
