Havent seen it before the crop Penny but it looks real good. Agree that a shallower DOF would make it even better but dunno how much different it would be for f4. ~Chris

Didn't see it before the crop but it looks nicely centered now Penny. I think a little shallower DOF might have made this a little more effective, but it's still nice.

Good job composing the busy construction scene Penny. I agree that f/4 might have made the prongs stand out a bit more but this works very well as is. I like all the different lines and curves of the different elements going every which way. CJ

okay - slight crop performed. Is it better? Penny Street

Good visual challenge to accept the centered fork to be really centered - actually just below center (middle). A slight crop could fix it. -tv

Somehow the forks draw all the attention. Good example of what we should be trying to accomplish. Keep it up and you'll be hosting again. -Doug

I think it's because the fork prongs don't jump out at us that makes this work so well. The scene looks totally natural & quite busy but I only have eyes for the prongs. So you have done something very right here a.

I'm not sure I got the fork prongs to stand out enough? But you get the idea.
I would have moved to f4 if it had been totally planned out well (or used another lens like roll the bone and Sue Anne). But I think the busy background still works okay. Penny Street

Up there for thinking Penny, well done. You made a good composition out of a messy scene here. If we can have a centred focal point like this picy I think it will open more doors for picys a. Nicely done megirl.
