Nice shot, credible snow, lovely bokeh.
(Doug means layer blend mode: Luminance)

I'm going to have to look up luminous mode Doug. Thanks. -tv

Actually, looking at this on my monitor at home it looks much better and more natural. For the record though: When making any brightness and/or contrast adjustments if you do it in luminous mode it will not effect color saturation. -Doug

Maybe this is a blood orange.
What I notice on my monitor is a slight darkening of the color around the outside of the fruit.

Of course the S shape I do in curves also saturates the colours that's why I normally de-saturate my picys after using it. Itsa mute point anyway if this is what you like Tommy.

There are red oranges, very red, and they taste much better than regular ones.
Simple and effective. Good shot, Tom.

Funny I didn't expect comments on the color since that's what it is. No change in sat either. The pp is all levels and curves which as Rod knows will change the apparent saturation significantly. I guess the color is a bit overwhelming but my old eyes like it. I guess I should move the sat slider down a bit. Will do. Maybe. -tv

It has been cold up there lately hasn't it? Agree with Rod, that is one colorful orange. -Doug

I think this should be called a redange, I hope you haven't picked up the saturation bug from the other challenge Tommy or do you have such red oranges over there?

Great texture and color Tom but you better bring it in before it freezes or it will turn to mush! :-) CJ
