Your lens decisions you mention below Rod would be tough to make. A truly wide angle like the 10-22 would be nice, but a good macro lens can be nice too. I was just thinking a tube would be an easy thing to toss in your bag to get you by on a macro shot using the 70-200. I'd be curious as to what the bokeh looks like with that combination- might be nice. I think with the Canon tubes you buy just one (12 or 25mm) and the Kenko which are very similar to the Canon come in a three pack for the price of one Canon. Might be a good thing to just bring gear into a shop and test things out. So many things to consider...

Nice backlit shot Rod. I might crop the top a bit as there seems to be just a little too much space up there - maybe make the space the same as the sides? I like the little seed or whatever trying to escape. :-) CJ

This reminds me Whoville... Great shot, love the lighting. Very zen - simple and effective. I want to be closer to it though :) jano

Thanks Penny, Debi, Doug, YB, Tommy, Troy & Brent:-) Me missus really liked this one too. Would you have to get all three extension tubes Brent? I'm torn between getting the 10-22 wide angle or the 60mm macro lens. I was a bit worried that I would have to use a tripod wiv the extension tubes whereas I could hand hold the macro lens. I don't seem to have the patience for using a tripod. The 70-200 being such a good lens maybe the tube would be a lot cheaper way to go.

Very nice work Rod. Hey, have you tried an extension tube with that lens yet? If it works well it would be a useful lightweight addition to keep in your bag- thinking about one myself.

One word - Zen.
You, your camera and the scene were as one at the moment this photograph was taken. It can not be improved upon.
