your G9 is a great camera, and at the size at which we post you probably don't need an SLR BUT (My But)... it would be great for you to learn what can be gained from a dslr. And what software do you use for processing? Penny Street PS I really like this photo

Thanks amm & tv Don't think Father Christmas will be bringing me a DSLR this year, (it should be noted that the winning entries in the last four Challenges have been taken with a G&,G9 or G10). That was the colour of the trees that afternoon. YB

Something about the visual impression of excitement of the birds makes the trees seem to glow uncomfortably hot. It works for me in this context but I'm wondering if the effect I'm seeing was intended. -tv
