Nice shot Lydia. The angle is a bit unsettling, which is good. Have you tried it in B&W, it could be quite effective with this image. BTW was he looking for JV's 'Frog' entered below? ~ keithinmelbourne

Search ebay for "20D battery door". I came up with two when I tried it. Or...

LOL, Tom. Ummm thanks, but no. :) Surely you can buy a new one for pretty cheap? ~lydia

I have to hold my 20D battery door closed with packing tape.. want to sell yours (... the battery door, that is)? -tv

You think that was my 40D, Tom??! No way! That was my 20D! :)

And he bought me both.. .so I couldn't refuse... although I did consider a non-L lens *grin* ~Lydia

You are very trusting Lydia. But then he's still young. Us old coots drop things and I have two damaged DSLR's to prove it. -tv

I like this Lydia! A little crop on the top down to the bottom of those leaves might look good, and I like the angle, pose and shadow here too. A perfect subject for the topic! :-) CJ (edited for clarity :-D)

I like the tilt and the seriousness of the photographer.
(though I am wondering what he is shooting at)

Posters like Aamm would say he must be a silly old sod for putting up wiv you for over 20 years but I admire his choice in women, he has impeccable taste even though he can't use a camera:-)

LOL! I married the 'silly ole sod' twenty-something years ago. *grin* He's very annoying in the fact that anything he does or says is always right. No, really. It always is. He does anything well. It's crazy how much this man knows and does.

Anyway, we were on a Photography walk-about and he went along with me. I asked him if he wanted to use one of my cameras... so he did... taking photos of 'textures' for me to use as overlays, etc. He was so nice not to look through the viewfinder so his photography would not be better than mine. *grin*

He's nice that way. ~Lydia

The silly ole sod thinks he's using a P&S camera. Itsa wonder he didn't fall forward wiv that slope.
