7th: Spiritual & Mammon
by Abstract

I am trying to convey contradiction in the object itself.
Do challenge rules require two (at least) opposite subjects in the photo to be on-topic?

Thank you very much Lydia and Techo.
I am really glad that everyone here seems to have taken this photo as a commentary on the society as a whole (exactly what I intended). It was not targeted towards any particular religion or country.

Very well visualized. Big kudos on the paper folding for sure. What a great idea. The lighting, composition...the shots just works.

Thank you Debbie. I am glad you liked the idea. -Abstract
ps: Although the credit for word "mammon" goes to YB. originally I had used "carnal" in the title.

Wow, You amaze me with your ideas! I must admit I had never heard the word Mammon and had to look it up.
Well done

Thank you Sharon, K2, and YB. It always gives extra satisfaction when people like your concept/commentary/thought behind the image.
Thanks YB for the title suggestion :)

Brilliantly imaginative image.

Minor point - the title. Perhaps "Mammon" would be more appropriate than "Carnal".

Hi, Abstract! No, two objects are not necessary, it is the concept that I am much more interested in. Really good work on the concept and paper folding in this one! This provokes a lot of thought about the commercializing of God and the uses of religion in daily life where it may not be entirely necessary. Very interesting indeed! ~Sharon
