Yes William Muybridge rings a big bell, like you I can't be bothered Googling I would rather ask someone. The other Benefit of waiting for the picy to appear with the camera up to your eye is people don't think you're photographing them. Mind you don't go to a really quite spot as the camera will be cocked ready & up to our eye for hours before anyone walks by:-) I often do this with street shots too where people are walking towards me I might pretend to take picys when they're a distance off & take the camera away from my eye & look just to their left or right as though I'm shooting something other than them. When they get close & the camera is up to my eye they don't seem so conscious that I'm shooting them..............Geez I sound sneaky a:-)

Thanks all. Yes Rod wasn't his name William Muybridge or something like that (I'm not going to Google it to find out). This is one of about 20 I shot of this same spot as I leaned against a column trying to be inconspicuous and steady the camera. As I think Rod once mentioned, the technique is to frame a shot and wait for someone to enter the frame... and keep snapping. -tv

I guess the fun part are the feet. That's what I noticed.
But I like the rest of the picy too.

Forgot to mention both the blokes feet are captured off the ground which adds a great touch. Remember when they first photographed a racehorse with all four feet off the ground Tommy, it was quite a revelation at the time.

I'm not sure what fun this picy is but it's an excellent picy. The bloke mirrored in the window makes this quite unique. The other reflections work really well too. Great work Tommy.
