Thanks, Debi, CJ & TomD. Your comments are much appreciated. Carole, if only I had some money to invest in property, I'd buy it. Us poor folk are selling; the well-healed are buying. TomD, what a nice thing to say. ":^) Cheers, -mikey

This is really nice Mikey, but I would expect any less from Colorado (or you). Glad you get so much use out of that lens; many of your shots encourage me to be more experimental.

Gorgeous Mikey! Lots of shopping available in the real estate market these days - maybe you can get this at a real bargain price now! :-) CJ

hmm, well that's an unique interpretation - Debi - lovely too

Thanks for the kind words, folks.
Penny, its fair. I moved away from the city (L.A.) 24 years ago and haven't been sorry since (except when we have these obvious city-type Challenges ":^D). I just about gave up on this one bcuz I almost never go to town any more (25 miles), hate shopping and buy all my clothes at thrift stores, used, ha! I just happened to be "out East" and the real estate sign, along with that beautiful sky, caught my eye.
Rod, I love this lens. I didn't "de-fish" this shot. If you look at the fence post on the lower left (actually straight up and down), the barrel distortion is quite apparent there. The reason the horizon isn't "fishy" is that it goes directly thru the middle of the frame. There aren't any other straight lines that would divulge the barrel distortion. "De-fishing" is available in PS in Filter-> Distort-> Lens Correction-> with the Remove Distortion slider.
Thanks again for the comments. Cheers, -mikey

Great example that you can buy something everywhere. DaB

Geez the wide angle makes the sky go on forever, I think I need one. Mikey we talked before about your lens being called a fisheye, did you have to defish this to get a normal look, if so how do you defish?

not fair.... it's too pretty.
