Thanks D:-) How could our sweet young Penny get into any trouble:-)

Really interesting image, Rod. I think if fits the category well. Penny, Koyaanisqatsi is a good movie. I have my own copy. ~dtallakson

uh oh (i may be in trouble). Cars, yes. But no chasing (kind of the opposite, actually). You'll see how it fits with this picy anyway. Penny Street

You must be right Penny as I didn't spot this picy as repetition & I'm rally brainy. I just assumed that beautiful girls are not very brainy, you have forced me to reassess me assumptions:-) I will have to get me son Josh to search out that movie & have a look, I hope it has lots of car chases init:-)

Lydia must be smarter than you know.
Koyaanisqatsi - also known as Koyaanisqatsi: Life out of Balance, is a 1982 film directed by Godfrey Reggio with music composed by Philip Glass and cinematography by Ron Fricke.
If you have never watched this, I would recommend that you do.

Thanks Tommy:-) Yes this is as is from the camera with some added contrast & sharpening. This was shot looking up under the bridge & the light wasn't too bad. Now I understand, I can see it now even though our wonderful host did say this is blurting wiv diagonals & they're even dancing from edge to edge. Anyhow we will see wot the next few days bring.
PS How did Lydia know this was repetition:-)

What an amazing image - or a concoction?! Since you don't concoct I have to accept that this is an amazing image - somehow compressing all those trussy members into a visually minimalist equivalent of Steve Reich music shifting gradually out of phase until it comes back together at the end of the piece. Great original capture worthy of an album cover.

Now, that having been said, I tend to agree with Lydia that all those teeny tiny diagonals as well as the bigger diagonals say more about "repetition" and phase variation than "diagonal" as a theme. -tv

Thanks Lydia & Doug:-) Wot diagonals did our host display for us Lydia? I think you might mean the diagonals are not on enough of an angle. In between all the slight diagonals are sort of saw tooth diagonals which must cover that I think. Can you elaborate medear.

I agree that there are a lot of diagonals... but I don't see the kind that our host has displayed for us... *sigh* Cool abstract, though! ~Lydia

This is just burting with diagonals dancing from edge to edge. Well done Rod. -COAmature

Thanks Kiki & Penny medears:-) The colours were more subdued straight from the camera but came out more when I did the S shape thingy on the curves tool. I hope I didn't make this manly subject too girly:-)

nice - great little diagonals not too neatly stacked up - I like the (sort-of) reverse telescopic effect. Penny Street

Excellent - great impact :)) And more diagonals than you can shake a stick at. As for colors, love those too. Beige and blues really sit well together.
