Thanks Kurt:-) It must be my scrambled mind as I can see order in this disorder.

I like the concept with this shot Rod, but agree it is a bit dark (knowing you are shooting for contrast). Also, the lack of symmetry with the upper table and chairs makes for a busy, disorganized composition. Perhaps your intent, but seems a little distracting. - angioman

Thanks Kiki medear:-) Yes our different monitors must make some picys look better than they are & others worse. I know when I view one of my picys on Mereana's lap top they don't look too good at all compared to wot I see on my CRT, the same poor picy look happens when I look at a picy here on my son Joshs new Samsung 22" LCD. The top of the picy doesn't worry me at all as the whole picy seems very busy wiv the contrasty chrome but I suppose a crop down to just above the top of the chairs at the top table would work.

Good composition, wee bit on the dark side. I use two monitors. On the one that show better details in the dark, this looks fine. But on the "main" monitor, details in the closest tabletop are lost. So I suspect this shot tax the viewers equipment pretty hard.
I wonder if I'd have cropped off a few pixels along the top, a little much going on there with whites.

Very moody like a '50s film noir movie full of inuendo like the shadows and snakey shapes highlighted here. I like the effect. -tv

The first table and chairs set (on the bottom) has wonderful diagonals and that kind of leads in to the rest. Good choice for b/w too. I like the reflecting chrome. Penny Street
