The two people really make this shot for me! ~dtallakson

Nothing wrong with your sharpening. If you like it then it's good. Hmm, maybe I under-sharpen my pics :)

Thanks again for comments all :-) Hmm, I'm not sure I like having a style that can be easily spotted Aam, especially for over sharpening. Maybe I should start wearing glasses when I edit as I really don't think I am sharpening that much.

Sorry to answer your question so late, Brent. The clues to your style, at least from your posting here, are: 1- bold colors 2- a bit of over-sharpening. Add to that a somewhat distinctive Seattle architecture, weather, and landscape and it's easy to spot your work :)

I like the play of the small squares against the diagonal. Great positioning of the three people too. Excellent.

Good one, colorful image.

The perspective thru the fence adds to the diagonal.

The two people encapsulated in the architecture and oblivious to each other like ships passing in the night add a humanistic degree of interest that makes this particularly appealing. -tv

Nice diagonal and love those yellows contrasting with the black handrails! The grate is nice and people add to the sense of motion. :-) CJ

Thanks much Penny, not a hard guess eh? Actually, I mostly read eBooks and haven't checked anything out at this branch except the view :-)

Seattle Library no doubt, you lucky one. Read any good books lately? This is really superb, btw.

Thanks much mate :-) I wasn't up norf actually but souf and eaft in the other Washington area. I had a good visit with my brother and family, but as usual for me had to work long hours before I left and will do the same for the next several days now that I am back. The weather is beautiful here right now and it is a pity I will be spending so much time in the office with just a little summer left :-(

A diagonal with a pattern overlay. Nice take on the subject Brent. -COAmature

The triangle of the three people make this work for me, well done. Welcome back mate, how did you enjoy it up norf?

Thanks Aam, you are sure quick with the comments :-) Wondering if you recognized a style as mine (whatever that might be) or just the setting? It's nice to be posting again after being out of town. I'm still trying to catch up on my work now, but I managed to shoot a few on my lunch break. This is the only one I have had a chance to process- thought it was kind of funny.

Ha ha. I knew it was yours, Brent, from the thumb. And that's a big compliment.
