Thanks Maryanne for commenting. My intention with this shot (with the specific ctf challenge in mind) was for the color of the flowers against an otherwise drab farm field. I am in the process of converting this shot to b&w, but will leave the flowers stand in color. The hay shot will be converted to b&w, as that was my original intention, but found it was pretty in color also - but obviously not intended as shot for ctf - i took it out as it really didn't belong. While the kids were fishing I fuddled around with the camera and struggled for the balance between the land and sky w/o the sky blowing out. If anyone has a simple method (other than using a flash) please let me know. jano

You've captured the clouds beautifully, Jano. After some of the recent challenges, I'm wondering if you also shot it in b/w with a red or yellow filter. Of course, with the family in tow, you probably didn't have a chance to play around with the camera as much as you would have liked.

Thanks Brent! Yes, we were camping all w/e in northern Iowa. This is a trout stream called Coldwater. We all caught (and released) a trout here. Then we walked above to a cave. Great w/e with beautiful clouds. :) jano

Excellent Image Jano! You have put the touch of yellow in just the right spot. I like how my eye fell on the flowers first and then followed upstream to that beautiful sky. Very nicely done. So is the trout fishing good at this spot?
