thanks. I tried to manuever this but there is one very annoying thing about Photoshop which is that you can only move things around in the frame at determined intervals. So to move this down, I lose too much off the bottom and get too much sky at the top. I tried it several different ways and nothing worked. So at least you got to see the whole house for yourself. The one in pending shows too much sky above the flat point roof, all it needs is a fraction of white sky above it so it doesn't look cut off. Anyhow this still looks very good good so it's not worth a lot of work to fix it.

Rod - I will post the original in pending so you can see the top of the house. It just isn't working to try and redo this. Penny Street

A wonderful capture. Where is this? It looks like Saratoga Springs.

I think because of the grey sky maybe you could have zoomed in a lot more & made a composition say out of the windows & walls. I don't know why that little bit cut off disturbs me....mind you I still slept well:-)

I'm pretty sure it's just flat (no point). Would like me to repost this with a smidge of open space on the top?. I didn't do that because of the bland sky and, like tv said, I was going for a tight crop to get the most out of the colors.

The colours come up great on overcast days, looks really good. The only thing is the pointy roof being cut off but that would have meant maybe too much grey sky. Nicely done Penny.

These people have good taste in colors. You do too and the framing is the shot is effectively tight to keep attention on the patchwork of colors. -tv
