Thanks for the relief from flowers and such although not for long. Actually an effective photographic color field rendition of red and enough other texture to make it bearable. Have you ever seen Barnett Newman's paintings? -tv

I bet you get funny looks. I still get a bit embarassed when I have to bend around to get a new perspective - but getting shameless by the day. Only my hubby has to get used to it.

Nice comp BTW.

Do the Canon sensors have trouble with red? This looks a bit soft to me, and I often have the same problem with sharpness (or lack thereof) when I focus on a red subject.

Thanks Charlie but Penny is correct, this was taken in Target and I get funny looks when I pull my camera out and take pictures of odd things like this! :-) CJ

This looks more like a Macy's bag than a Target bag. But it's a nice shot in any event.

I redid this and uploaded as much of an unwhanged version as possible Rod. This is as shot with only a slight levels to increase the blacks a bit and a little USM - no increase in contrast. CJ

Yes I'm not so sure you whanged this clever comp carole- I usually don't want to see the color red again for a week after visiting a Target store :-)
