They look a lot better Penny. You had a really good B&W conversion on all three picys but they just needed a nudge to make the whites look white. The whites don't have to be technically white as long as the brain perceives them as white then you're home & hosed.
Rod - I replaced all three of these in about 8 minutes this morning and I guess I really needed 10 or 12. My monitor, unfortunately, does not manually calibrate so it's really hard for me to gauge brightness and contrast (even though I ran the calibration tool from pbase.) The weather was not on my side this weekend and that's my excuse for waiting til the last minute. Anyway, tell me what you think about this, but my only choice now is to put the other one back.
