Thanks Aam, I don't end up printing much of my work. But maybe this would be a good one to do so for a different looking display of my hobby.

Brent, have you printed this one already. You should, man.

I agree with Rod - good tonal range that fits in with the master's tradition. -tv

Brent, Your something else, I am still trying to "read up" on zonal technique and here you are with a beautiful image. (I quit) LOL Yvonne

Brent! This is wonderful! Very nicely done. I think this is a great example of zone system in contemporary digital!

Thanks Sharon :-) Still waiting to hear more from Cat about whether in the "attempted" style of Ansel Adams meets what he is looking for. Processing on this one as well as the other two was just my normal simple work flow and then the high contrast red B+W conversion in CS3 with a little fiddling with the color channel sliders. If I remember correctly the yellow slider helped me dial in detail for the shadowy areas of the trees- quite neat actually.

Really beautiful, Brent! A great start for the challenge and a good imitation of Ansel Adams, and I mean that in the very best way! I would be interested in your post workflow on this. Great work! ~Sharon
