Panoramas

To be honest, I wasn't too familiar with panoramic cameras or lenses when I first started doing these in the mid-1980s. (And I'm still not.) The idea's the same, though: take a number of slightly overlapping snapshots and then literally scotch-tape them together. Then put them in a long cardboard box under your bed for years at a time, collecting prodigious quantities of dust. The last step is to stumble across "stitching" software that permits them to be rescanned and (usually) seamlessly joined into something suitable for display here.
