I have nothing but profound respect for your art form, you made every line count, nothing extra, your compositions
work to bring maximum punch to some really funny off the wall far side humor. I think one enduring factor of your
work is an underlying truth with the bizarre twist, the animals doing the human thing to each other. You are a voice
to animals, you let them get back at the dominant species. Thank you for giving us so many wonderful cartoons, Gary.
I also understand how the cartoons would be considered your babies. I do a certain art medium where I am drawn by
by emotions to create and I can't simply release them. I can't even explain this, but I can identify with your feelings.
