i have a early water color dated 1931. this wonderful painting was found recently while cleaning an old frame , it had been used as a backing board for old photo. i was amased to find it in wonderful condition. the water color is hand etched and colored in with pinks , yellow and black. penmanship at bottom left hand corner reads: To Estelle and than signed with HERBERT JOHNSON , with best wishes and the date 1931
