24 Eagles and 18 Great Blue Heron gathered on the tide flats of Useless Bay, Whidbey Island.
I have never seen so many Eagles on the bay, and I have no idea why they congregated or where they came from.
There ia a great number of juvenile eagles. Perhaps they have gathered for foraging lessons.
But they were just sitting there and would occasionally hop around or short flight to another spot.
The Seattle skyline is on the far left horizon, about 30 mile away.
