First time we've had an Orchard Oriole visit! He was at the feeder for some jelly, but then flew back to the wild apple tree. I caught him as he was flying away. Other notable arrivals were a beautiful male Scarlet Tanager (which I got a few crummy shots of) and a couple of Gray Catbirds. A Carolina Wren was also singing loudly on the property.

Such an amazingly sweet image with the wings spread and first blossoms.

Still a fine flight shot, even if he was leaving. Too bad about the scarlet tanager — I would have loved to see it!
