One thing I always look forward to seeing is the flight of geese and swans in March. Today, as I was unloading groceries I heard the unmistakable "hohs" of the Tundra Swan. I bolted into the house yelling "Swans! Swans! Swans!" (yes, I'm a bird nerd) and grabbed my camera. I was able to see them fly overheard, much lower than I expected, and get a few shots before they went behind the house. There were about 30. The camera settings were way off. Luckily, I shoot RAW so I was able to recover the tones.
