I noticed this sick male House Finch today. He has a bad case of avian conjunctivitis. I'll be cleaning my feeders more now, or maybe even taking them down until I don't see him any longer. Unfortunately, I don't think there's anything that can be done for him.

This is so sad. Finches seem especially prone to this and I've seen it more than I'd like at feeders especially. Beautiful shot, however. V
