We've gotten used to looking for critters on the dogs after they've been outside and roaming around through our fields. Usually we'll find innocuous bugs, but occasionally ticks. Today I saw something in the middle Kodi's snout, almost between his eyes. It was a mosquito that got some blood. It looks big here, but it was rather small—about 5mm long.
