While both my neighbors bulldozed the fields that were here when they built in favor of a grass mono-culture, we kept a much smaller lawn, leaving these beautiful apple trees, several other trees like Black Cherry and White Pines, and lots of gray dogwood, willows, birch and goldenrod.
