01/11/2024 - LRM-105553.jpg

Power was restored around Noon today. I took a walk in the park with the dogs this morning to assess the storm damage. There were only a couple of trees down, including this one that until now was surviving without its other leader. Bad news is there is another wind event coming Saturday, followed by heavy lake effect snow. The Bills game should be interesting!

It is amazing the damage the wind can do, trees look as if they have just been ripped in half as one might a piece of paper.

That is scary! That is why the Bills should have gotten a dome.

good thing that very few trees were broken, excellent forest image!

Wind, snow and power outages, sounds like triple-whammie to me.

nice to hear that it has been only a few trees.V

We've had wind here a couple of times, fortunately no tree outages - and now it's finally snowing! Ouch for that tree!

That doesn't look very good, but glad to hear it was only a couple of trees. I'm sure the Bills game will be worse than the Ravens game on Sunday, when they were nearly drowned out by rain. Don't think I've ever seen it that bad on TV!

Let's hope that Nature heals!
