Father's Day Dinner
My daughter made dinner for us today in honor of father's day. It was seared salmon with a blueberry BBQ sauce, brown butter sage mashed potatoes and honey balsamic Brussels sprouts. It was paired with a nice Pinot Noir. For dessert we had blueberry cinnamon rolls with a blueberry frosting and baked peaches with a whipped vanilla mascarpone topping. Oh, and I also got a new pair of slippers!
Of course there were dessert leftovers which will be enjoyed during the week and worked off as I spread the 7 cubic yards of mulch on our landscape beds, which is being delivered tomorrow!
