I took a walk this evening for a chance at getting a shot of the American Woodcocks in the fields. We hear their "peent" calls and the twittering sounds they make while flying and during their mating ritual every evening in early spring. Unfortunately, the shutter speed was way too low and the birds were very fast and unpredictable. It got dark fast and I thought I heard a Sasquatch, so I high-tailed it out of there!
