Total Lunar Eclipse

The last one for three years around here. I got up at 5a and looked out and it was cloudy, so I went back to bed. Checked again at 5:30a and the clouds were gone!

Bravo for this great capture! Here, there were a few peeks in the cloud cover right up until just before the first hint of the eclipse began. Then, even much heavier clouds covered the original clouds. So, although I had waited up very late to shoot the blood moon, there was no moon to be seen where we live. Just clouds on top of clouds. Glad you were able to see and shoot it. Blood moons are a pretty awesome experience. Three years is a long time to wait for the next one: weather permitting.
