Red Eft
I often see these guys after a rain, on one trail when I walk the dogs. I was hoping to catch one today and I did! Red Efts are the terrestrial stage of the Red-spotted Newt. After a couple of years they move to being aquatic and become green with a yellow belly, but retain the red spots.
