Many moons ago when I was getting my degree in Communication Design, the university I attended took part in the Print Magazine student cover design competition. I created my entry on an Amiga 1000 computer with 32 colors and with a mouse. I setup my Minolta X-370 film camera and took a shot of the screen! It was a humorous depiction of a graphic designer going for an interview and suffering a ridiculous misfortune. Although my design was one of a few chosen by the school to be sent for consideration, I did not win.

Anyway, the reason I thought about it was due to having just watched Season 1 of "Blown Away" on Netflix. One of the glass artists, Deborah Czeresko created a glass foot that had stepped in a big wad of gum! Pretty cool. Hers is much better than mine! You can view her glass sculpture here: https://www.instagram.com/p/B_h25puH3tc/

This is super cool, and I must say, I prefer it to the glass creation, though it is also beautiful. V

Great story and I must say that's a pretty darn good "screen shot"! I can certainly see why your design was a chosen entry. The glass sculpture is pretty cool too.

So neat to see this and to hear the story behind it. I think it's pretty cool what you came up with with the sooo antiquated hardware :0) v

Hers may look elegant, but I think your creation is excellent and quite comical.
