The Sun rose again today, just as it’s done for billions of years—and for what seems like billions of Buffalo Bills heartbreaking losses. Sure, Josh Allen and the offense played a great game, but Leslie Frasier’s defensive plan didn’t work (or wasn't executed) and they didn’t seem to make any adjustments. Maybe next year? Go Bills! Go Bengals (next week)!

The big picture, conveyed well by your beautiful photo: there have been far, far more sunrises than team losses.

With Mairéad on your game...but I understand skies and this one is pretty.

From a Chiefs fan, no matter who won, that was a fantastic game. It's being called "one of the greatest games in NFL playoffs history." They'll long be playing reruns of yesterday's game to highlight two great teams in a very exciting and memorable game.

Even though you prefer the Bengals and whoever, I'm rooting for the Chiefs to take it the whole way. Their Super Bowl win in 2020 was the start of the pandemic. The 2020 Super Bowl parade was the very last time I was in a large crowd. So maybe a Chiefs 2022 Super Bowl win (fingers crossed) will mark the start of the end of the pandemic. I'll take any kind of hope (even superstition) that I can get. Hopefully, by the time the Chiefs and the Bills meet again, we'll all have a more normal life again.

Lovely image.

Heartbreaking and sad that it had to end the way it did. Regulation performances aside, the slow-to-act NFL needs to take a lesson from the other major sports and correct their flawed overtime rules. That is a beautiful morning after sky!

That was heartbreaking. The OT rules need to change. I thought they were going to win 😞 Beautiful sunrise to remind us there is hope on the horizon (until baseball starts and the Yankees are terrible). V

That's a gorgeous sky. Can't comment on the game except there will always be another year.

Beautiful sunrise sky in this great capture. It was a real nail-biter down to the last 13 seconds, when it looked like they had won with that amazing touchdown and extra point. And then... Well, as you say, something sure went wrong with the defense. I think OT rules need to be changed. In any case, next year, and I agree, Go Bengals!
