The Early Bird Gets The Berries

The Cedar Waxwings are ravenous at the first sight of ripe serviceberries. We had five in this large shrub
vying for the few red ones ... and barely red ones! They compete with the American Robins, Gray Catbirds,
Purple and House Finches, etc. and even Eastern Chipmunks! It's a great native shrub or tree to attract
a variety of birds.
